Pharma Westen is a German subsidiary in the Orifarm Group and is situated in Leverkusen, Germany.  

Employees: In Germany we employ about 500. About 400 employees are hourly-paid workers, and they work in the repacking facility and warehouse. The remaining 100 employees are office workers. 

Functions: All functions, including central staff functions such as finance, HR and legal departments, are placed in Germany; however, in cooperation with the Danish headquarters. Besides this there is a packing facility in Germany that handles the repacking of products for the German market. The registration of marketing authorizations for the sales of our products is also mainly done here. Furthermore, other activities such as marketing, quality control and logistics are also maintained in Germany.

Activities on the market: In Germany, we sell parallel imported pharmaceuticals. We have a large product range of parallel imported pharmaceuticals and are among the 4 largest parallel importers on this very big market. We are currently evaluating the German market for generic pharmaceuticals. All products are sold by the German pharmacists through the German wholesalers.
