About the job
Orifarm Generics has exploited a lot of exciting opportunities over the past years which has moved the company to a new level. We are currently on a very exciting journey, and we are looking for the right candidates to be a part of our future. Therefore, we are looking for candidates to join our Business Development Team, preferably with a mix of pharmaceutical and economical knowledge and with minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing and negotiation. If you have experience from the generic pharmaceutical industry it will be an advantage.
You will be responsible for the identification, evaluation, and execution of new product deals. By participation in external networks, conferences, and meetings, you will contribute in building an even stronger product portfolio and supplier network. Pro-activeness and can-do attitude are essential parts of the job and you must thrive with an analytical off-set for negotiation and problem-solving. You will be an active team player and participate in building a strong and competitive pre-pipeline.
You will have direct contact with our suppliers located all over the world. The contact with the suppliers will often be via mail, phone, or teleconferences, but you will also need to participate in networking events and will thus have about 20 travelling days a year.
It is a must that you have negotiation experience and know how to handle a face-to-face negotiation successfully.
Orifarm's headquarters are located in Odense (Denmark), and we prefer that the new Business Development Manager has his/her daily work in Odense, but we are open for alternative options if needed.
Who are you?
You have a winning personality with eagerness and are persistent to deliver results. You are an experienced contract negotiator with solid economic insight and you are skilled working in MS Office, especially Excel. That you are fluent in English is a must, both written and orally. If you are familiar with the Nordic Pharma markets, it is a great advantage.
On a personal level, you posess a strong drive and ability to follow-through on projects. Teamwork is an elemental part of delivering successfully and distinct teamwork skills are crucuial. You have an outgoing personality and enjoy to establish and maitain business relations. You have solid networking and communication skills and you patiently work with projects also when challenges are arising. You can focus in challenging situations where unforeseen obstacles occur, and stay creative in your way of thinking. Your ability to quickly grasp the understanding of complex matters is crucial to succeed in the job.
