Team Manager – Product Lifecycle Management
Viminco, part of the Orifarm Group, is looking for an experienced Team Manager to help us further realize our growth ambitions for the development, optimisation and manufacture of our portfolio of pharmaceutical products. This is an exciting new position, initiated to manage the important cross-functional team, Pharmaceutical Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and its projects, which cover a varied portfolio of products.
What are you going to work with?
The role encompasses both line management of Viminco PLM team members and coordination/project management of more complex PLM projects. As such, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal prioritisation of projects and effective deployment and development of Viminco PLM team members. You will ensure appropriate information sharing with and engagement of a cross-functional steering group comprising representatives from Development, Operations and Commercial functions. Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and professional development of a growing team of dedicated scientists
- Allocation and prioritization of resources for our development projects in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinating the scientific and technical work associated with PLM tasks and projects
- Project Management of more complex PLM projects and facilitation of project meetings
- Ensuring that results are delivered to agreed timelines and quality standards to ensure that projects can proceed without delay.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and Program Management to ensure project progress, prioritisation and reporting
- Communicating fluently in speech and writing in Danish and English
Who are you?
You have professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a relevant academic background, e.g. pharmacy, analytical chemistry, or a closely-related field. You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Team or Project Manager and 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
As a person, you are enthusiastic, careful, structured, flexible and development-oriented. You will need a flexible mindset to ensure that the team can react and prioritize efficiently in support of our fast-moving and continuously evolving development projects, related to our existing commercial portfolio of products.
You have the desire and ability to keep many balls in the air and are ready to take responsibility, set the scene and direction for your team. Furthermore, you have strong cooperative skills and a positive attitude. You will utilise these on a daily basis to ensure a good atmosphere and positive attitude in the team, and build and maintain positive collaborations with other business functions and stakeholders.
You will be part of a newly established team, responsible for diverse projects related to Product Lifecycle Management. The team is located in the interface of Development and Commercial Operations. It is responsible for troubleshooting and optimization of existing products, facilitating technology transfer of products to commercial Operations team, and test methods, transfer of newly-acquired products into our facility and tasks related to out-licensing of existing products.
