About the job
We are currently looking for an experienced manager with a commercial background for our Consumer Healthcare team in Operations. The team is currently facing an establishment process and you will contribute in establishing a successful team. The team is characterized by being interdisciplinary and handles everything operationally in relation to food supplements, which is our newly acquired product area, including purchasing, quality, regulatory, contribution to S&OP, and launch of new products in collaboration with sales & marketing. Thus, your main task will be to lead and develop our Consumer Healthcare team in Operations, including recruitment of new employees as well as make our existing employees a success. An essential part of the job will be to negotiate and establish commercial contracts with suppliers, which is why this should be motivating for you. Additionally, you are expected to coordinate and prioritize the various tasks in the department.
Who are you?
We imagine that you are an experienced leader with a commercial mindset. We expect you to have a relevant academic educational background, preferably within the field of supply chain management, operations, and administration, such as cand.merc, cand.negot, or similar.
As department manager, you will play a vital role, which is why we expect you to have managerial courage, are willing to take action, and have a high degree of integrity. We expect you to be able to make the necessary decisions as well as pursue the business strategy. It is important that you have a great organizational understanding and that you are driven by motivating your employees in order for the team to succeed. As negotiating commercial contracts with suppliers will be a huge part of the job, it is crucial that you possess excellent negotiation skills and are fluent in both written and verbal English.
If you have practical experience in the operational handling of food supplements or FMCG it would be a great advantage.
