Business Developer - Product Portfolio

We are looking for a candidate who is curious to explore new opportunities and constantly seek new opportunities through analyzes of market trends within the pharmaceutical business.
A job with focus on growth
We are currently looking for a new colleague in our Portfolio Development Team. As part of the team, it will be your task to ensure the growth within your area of responsibility in a therapeutic area, being the expert on what is new, what is the blockbusters and what is becoming obsolete. You will have wide cooperation across the whole organization and you will be engaging with stakeholders on a daily basis and in a proactive way.
Additionally, you will be scouting our 9 sales markets and our 27 purchase markets to identify new products and business areas and to find the right purchase option before others do.
Are you result oriented and have a commercial mindset?
We expect you to have a relevant commercial background, preferably with some experience from a similar role – but most importantly, you have commercial flair and a strong passion for achieving results.
We expect you to:
- Have a cross-organizational know-how from a dynamic commercial environment. Having experience within the pharmaceutical industry can be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
- Be attentive to details and have a analytical mindset enabling you to conceive the complexity of the value chain and our processes. A good understanding of processes and procedures is a plus.
- Enjoy working independently and systematically towards our objectives, deep diving into data, with flair for the use of different IT systems.
- Be self-driven and outgoing with a proactive mindset and a can-do attitude, enjoying working with different people, meeting them at eye level.
We expect you to be curious and have a team-player mentality as well as an understanding of that identifying your stakeholders will help you in succeeding.
Who are we?
You will be a part of a team with 10 dedicated colleagues with various tasks, and 9 student assistants supporting us in our tasks and our work environment is professional and enthusiastic. We are focusing on identifying and evaluating new products and product types within parallel import, for our 9 sales markets. We do so in close cooperation with Sales and Purchase, to find the best possibilities for the company. We initiate the relevant processes and ensure the launch of the identified products, until the other teams in our department take over. We have a strong team-spirit which includes both social and professional sparring.

Our portfolio contains well-known brands such as Pamol, Kodimagnyl, and Apovit. Within New Bizz, we aim to expand our business by exploring new opportunities within pharmaceuticals.
