Portfolio Specialist – Portfolio Management

For this position we are looking for a candidate who has an eye for changes in markets and a specialist's focus on details. If you can help our department creating results that can be seen directly on the bottom line, you may be our next Portfolio Specialist.
About the job
You will become an important part of our Portfolio Management area. Portfolio Management is responsible for our active product portfolio, where we are spotting new opportunities and constantly improving the performance of our product portfolio. In addition, we select and launch new parallel imported medicines for sale throughout Europe.
Together with a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing part of our product portfolio, where you will follow changes in markets, product performance, inflows of goods and prices. You will be responsible for product decisions and tactics together with your stakeholders, such as what and where we buy and sell our products. In addition to working with a Portfolio Manager, you will be part of a diversified team of skilled colleagues. The team works closely with Sales and Purchase to find the best possibilities for the company.
Who are you?
We expect you to have a relevant commercial background, preferably with some experience from a similar role – but most importantly, you have commercial flair and a strong passion for achieving results.
Additionally, we expect you to:
- Have a cross-organizational know-how from a dynamic commercial environment. Having experience within the pharmaceutical industry can be an advantage, but is not a requirement
- Be attentive to details and have an analytical mindset enabling you to conceive the complexity of the value chain and our processes. A good understanding of processes and procedures is a plus
- Enjoy working independently and systematically towards our objectives, deep diving into data, with flair for the use of different IT systems
- Be self-driven and outgoing with a proactive mindset and a can-do attitude, enjoying working with different people, meeting them at eye level
Furthermore, you are curious and have a team-player mentality as well as an understanding of identifying your stakeholders which will help you succeeding.

You will be a part of a team with 4 dedicated colleagues who have their own responsibility for a part of the active portfolio. In the daily work, the team is supported from a portfolio support and our talented student assistants.
