About the job
At Orifarm you will be part of a professional and international environment, where you will work closely with key business partners and, together, optimize their work. Our IT Business Application OLTP team is responsible for the flow and presentation of data used for the daily business in Orifarm. We help streamline the business processes by transferring data between internal and external systems. We also maintain a legacy data warehouse with multiple business critical reports, cubes, and applications on top. Our customers are the entire Orifarm group, including all processes from the conception of new business opportunities, to purchase, to production, to sales, spread over 9 countries.
You will service the day-to-day business, including on-call duties, deliver small changes and fixes, and participate in projects of varying sizes.
Who are you?
You're a positive team player who has graduated with an IT related education or maybe gained a high level of SQL knowledge during your work. You appreciate contact with internal business users, to help optimize their processes, train them in the developed systems, and sometimes reverse engineering solutions to answer very specific questions.
It is important that you:
- are highly motivated to work with SQL and have a lot of experience and/or flair for it
- can be physically present in our headquarters in Odense
- can perform T-SQL optimizations at many levels of complexity
- have worked with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS and can maintain existing solutions
- are a quick learner and enjoy expanding your skill set
- can communicate fluently in Danish and English, both written and orally
It is an advantage, if you have knowledge in:
- VB (and VB script)
- Microsoft Dynamics Ax 2009
- GxP / Gamp5 / GDPR
- the workflow in a Sales and Production company
Who are we?
Group IT is located in Odense, with sub departments in Czech and Germany. We are more than 30 specialists working with IT from Operations and Support to Software development and Reporting.
The Business Application team consists of 8 people, working with OLTP and design and implementation of applications to our business. We support over 90 ‘systems’; from simple reports to applications that support pricing and allocation of products, assist with the registration of products with the medical authorities, and the process regarding expanding our product pool and following through with new launches, among others.
In the OLTP sub team, currently consisting of 3 people, we help optimize the processes in the business by analyzing and developing the data infrastructure for the applications they use.
We are an energetic team who meet challenges with enthusiasm. We come from different backgrounds and constantly strive to deliver useful solutions to our businesses that brings value, and they love to use.
As a Pharmaceutical Company we live up to Gamp5 and GxP, and document our changes accordingly. We coordinate the implementation of changes with our other teams, like Operations, AX and BI, for optimal process flow.
