About the job
At Orifarm, you will be part of a professional and international environment. The Operations team is responsible for delivering infrastructure to all departments in the Orifarm Group, located across Europe. We strive to constantly improve and evolve our infrastructure, to provide the best-of-breed service to Orifarm.
We are working in a hybrid environment with main components being Azure, on-prem virtualized platform and SaaS services. IT plays a major role in the company, and we are always on the lookout for new technology and trends that can help us improve our business value. You are expected to participate in our on call duties.
You will be working together with team and department colleagues, end-users, and Business and Process owners to optimize our service delivery. You will have great influence on future solutions, as well as your own development. In this job, you will have a wide portfolio of tasks that require you to possess strong skills within the following areas:
- Windows server
- Active Directory
- Remote desktop services
- Cloud/Hybrid services (Azure, SaaS integrations)
- It would be a plus if you have knowledge in some of the following areas:
- Aruba Network (wired, wireless)
- Palo Alto firewalls
- Security in general
- Software distribution SCCM/Software Central
- Group policy management
- HP SAN
Who are you?
As a person you are curious and self-driven, a strong team player with a positive attitude. You aim high regarding knowledge and learning new skills along with having strong analytical skills and appreciating working in a structured manner. We value a proactive approach and a great drive combined with initiative and flexibility. As we are working in a highly regulated sector documentation and following standard procedures are second nature to you. Further, we expect you to have minimum of 5 years’ experience as a system administrator.
Additionally, we expect the ideal candidate to:
- Communicate fluently in English, both written and verbally. Danish is a plus.
- You live within commuting distance of our HQ in Odense

There is a great variety of tasks due to the size of our company, as well as the nature of the environment. The atmosphere is friendly and informal. As a pharmaceutical company we have to live up to Gamp 5 and GxP rules and document our changes accordingly. We support other internal teams in IT, and we are 3nd line escalation point to our IT support team on Orifarm operated services. Our history goes back to 1994 where Orifarm was founded in Denmark by Hans and Birgitte Bøgh-Sørensen. The primary work location is Odense.
To support a better work-life balance we offer the possibility to work from home. Currently rule of thumb is 2 days a week from home. Days are non-fixed and are scheduled in dialog with your manager.
