Our company’s financial historian
As a Financial Controller in Orifarm, you will play an essential role in inventory accounting and valuation. Your primary tasks consist of controlling subsidiaries and inventory, as well as participating in month- and year-end closings.
More specifically, the primary tasks within this role include:
- Controlling of Danish and foreign subsidiaries:
- Controlling of monthly reporting
- Controlling of financial processes (compliance, governance and validation)
- Support to subsidiaries and accounting team Controlling of inventory:
- Stock counts
- Scrap accounting
- Calculation of stock provision
- Participating in month- and year-end closing:
- Preparing and validating non-standard accruals
Moreover you will have various ad-hoc tasks as well as the opportunity to set the future controlling framework.
A team player with experience within financial controlling
We expect you to have experience from a similar role, and/or auditing. Further, you hold an education on a Master’s or Bachelor’s level, for example a Cand.merc, a HD(R), or similar.
This role requires you to be able to quickly analyze a problem and come up with your own proposal for a solution. Importantly, you are a team player with a proactive and collaborative attitude and a positive, data-driven mindset.
You should be fluent in both written and spoken English and Danish.
Experience with Axapta will be an advantage, but not a requirement.
Our global finance team consists of 40 employees based in Odense, Poland, Czech Republic and the UK. We have the global responsibility for all finance processes, reporting and controlling.
You will be a part of the financial controlling team in Odense, consisting of 5 employees.
