Student Assistant - Strategy Analysis Researcher

We are looking for a student assistant who is ambitious and eager to support the analytical work that will help our management to make informed decisions on important themes such as geographic expansion, portfolio handling, and competitor development.
About the job
As Strategic Analysis Researcher, you will be deeply involved in doing commercial analyses related to our geographic expansion by conducting competitor analyses, portfolio analyses, and help assess the overall attractiveness and go-to-market considerations. Using your analytical skills and curious mindset, you will conduct portfolio analyses and play a role in improving our ability to gain insights into performance metrics that allows our commercial departments to improve the handling of the product portfolio. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing ad hoc requests such as maintaining excel charts and tables and prepare slides for PowerPoint presentations.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate is a student preferable starting up the 1st semester on the master degree within the field of business, finance or strategy. You should have strong analytical capabilities and must be able to navigate complex data. Being a crisp and clear communicator in both writing and verbal is essential. You should have a structured approach to solving and prioritizing your tasks.
As a person, you are outgoing and find it easy to establish relations across the organization. You are self-driven and able to work independently while being reliable and meets the required deadline. You are reflective, curious, and not afraid of questioning the established way of thinking. A critical feature is that you are highly service-minded and flexible in accommodating ad hoc requests.
Additionally, it is required that you are:
- fluent in English, both written and verbal
- master of the Microsoft package (Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint most critical)
- able to work with datamodel tools such as Power Query would be deemed a big plus - if not it shouldn’t stop you from applying
