About the job
Orifarm Healthcare has exploited a lot of exciting opportunities over the past years, which has moved the company to a new level. We are currently on a very exciting journey and we are looking for the right candidates to be a part of our future. Therefore, we are looking for candidates to join our Business Development Team.
As our new Business Development Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Identification, evaluation and execution of new product deals
- Participation in external networks, conferences and meetings to build an even stronger product portfolio and supplier network
- Pro-activeness and a can-do attitude which is an essential part of the job - you must thrive with an analytical off-set for negotiation and problem-solving
- Being an active team player and participating in building a strong and competitive pre-pipeline
You will have direct contact with our suppliers located all over the world. The contact with the suppliers will often be via mail, phone or teleconferences, but you will also need to participate in networking events and will thus have about 20 travelling days a year.
It is a must, that you have negotiation experience and know how to handle a face-to-face negotiation successfully.
Who are you?
Preferably, you have a mix of pharmaceutical and economical knowledge and minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing and negotiation. If you have experience from the generic pharmaceutical industry, it will be an advantage. Further, you have a winning personality with eagerness and are persistent to deliver results. You are an experienced contract negotiator with solid economic insight and you are skilled working in MS Office, especially Excel. Fluently in English is a must, both written and orally. You are also familiar with the Nordic Pharma markets and have a well-founded experience with the OTC and Consumer Healthcare markets and an distinct interest in this business area.

- Has an outreaching personality and enjoys to establish and maintain business relations
- Has solid networking and communication skills and patiently works with projects also when challenges are arising
- Can focus in challenging situations where unforeseen obstacles occur and can stay creative in your way of thinking
Your ability to quickly grasp the understanding of complex matters is key to succeed in the job. Teamwork is an elemental part of delivering successfully and therefore, distinct teamwork skills a crucial.

You will be part of a fast-paced environment at Orifarm Healthcare’s in-license business development team. The team is located in Odense with dedicated colleagues in an open office environment, which allows us to have a friendly and informal atmosphere.
Starting out with a strong entrepreneurial mission, Orifarm was founded in 1994 by Birgitte and Hans Bøgh-Sørensen.
